The Seismic Behavior of The Materials Used in the Steel-Plate Shear Walls with Concrete Filled Steel Tube Columns Yaohong Wang1,a, Wanlin Cao1,2,a and Gang Li1,a 1College of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Beijing University of Technology, Beijing 100124 China 2Key Laboratory of Urban Security and Disaster Engineering of Ministry of Education of China, Beijing 100124 China awang_yaohong@163.com Key Words: Concrete Filled Steel Tube; Steel-Plate; Seismic Behavior Abstract: Based on the experiment, the author has made the finite element analysis of three steel-plate shear walls with concrete filled steel tube columns.
Introduction How enhances the seismic ability of structure is one of the most interesting topics in civil engineering, this research field has the important theory significance.
In actual engineering, we have no necessary to use the steel-plates who have too high thickness to save materials.
We suggest that the materials above should be applied in civil engineering more and more widely.
