Materials and methods
The refrigeration system is made up of four major components: condenser, evaporator, compressor and expansion device.
In the evaporator, the liquid refrigerant vaporizes by absorbing latent heat from the material being cooled, and the resulting low pressure vapor refrigerant then passes from the evaporator to the compressor.

These results seem to be consistent with the hypothesis that blocking the formation of ordered B2 and DO3 phases produces softer materials.

As cement-based materials are the most consumed materials in construction industry, thermal properties of these materials can play a significant role in energy efficiency of the buildings.
Conclusion Cementitious materials have a considerable potential to be exploited as multifunctional materials including thermal insulation materials.

As shown by experimental results, materials with negative Poisson’s ratio (auxetics), belong to such abnormal materials.
Auxetics present enhanced mechanical properties, which make them superior to classical materials for many practical applications.
Auxetic materials are still in developing stage and require intensive research [8, 9].
