Representation Methods for Microwave Absorption Ceramics

Two methods are widely used to represent the microwave absorption properties of ceramics: measuring the values of electromagnetic parameters such as permeability and permittivity, or directly measuring the reflection rate of a metal-backed slab sample made of this material.
Measuring electromagnetic parameters of samples in wave-guide with vector analyzer is a method widely used to represent the properties of microwave absorption materials, because microwave transmission behavior can be calculated from these parameters [3,4].

It is very difficult to polish the surface of magnesium materials because of its explosion and
fragility properties.
In this study, the MAP of a magnesium material was performed.
Recently, there is increasing use of magnesium materials in automotive manufacturing field mainly due to their weight advantage.

There are engineering capability index CP in Quality Management Science, the meaning is the ratio of measured parameter tolerances of the workpiece (T) and dispersion range of output workpiece parameters (6σ)[1]
In the drawings and technical documents, such quality characteristics only have unilateral lower tolerance, for example: the strength of material, lifetime of the product, withstand voltage of insulation, and some special provisions for certain process documents, all belong to this category.
Conclusion In the modernization drive, measurement science is an essential technology foundation.
