Chemical Vapor Transport Deposition (CVTD) could produce materials with high purity, high density and preferred orientation, and is often used to make single crystal tungsten and other refractory metal single crystal materials [2].
Materials and Experimental Methods The single crystal tungsten coating samples were cut from the emitter of domestic thermionic energy converter.
These demonstrate that the single crystal tungsten coating materials have kept relatively intact after working at 1600 ℃{TTP}8451 .
