The flow of water can be controlled by the fine material layers within the coarse materials.
They can retain more water than coarse materials and form a ponding effect and/or percolation points within the pile.
Two types of rock waste materials are introduced in the present modeling study: a fine material and a coarse material.

For example, H Zhenqi, Gao Yongguang etc., apply DEM theory combined with the square nets methods, with the help of ERDAS IMAGE remote image software to calculate earthwork. [1] Ke Xiaoshan, Zhang Wei etc., calculate it by utilizing the existing topographic map contours and elevation dots etc., the basic materials, using irregular triangulation interpolation ways to create digital elevating model.
