Abstract.
In engineering, power-off method is recommended to eliminate these errors.
In the engineering practice, however, it is utmost importance for pipeline operators to accurately measure the real cathodic protection potential of these old pipelines, they can judge the pipeline protection condition according to the accurate measurement to make the proper operation and maintenance decision on a cost-efficient basis.

Ceramic, metal and polymer materials can be used as a matrix.
Due to the large number of groups of these materials, composites can be divided: according to the type of matrix (made of metals, ceramics, carbon or polymers), according to the geometry of the fibers (with long, short fibers or particles), according to the type of filler (inorganic - glass, metal, ceramic fibers, organic – carbon).
Conclusion Composite materials, commonly used in the engineering and manufacturing industries, play a significant role in the field of mechanical engineering due to their tailored properties.
