1 Materials and Methods
1.1 Materials and Equipment
1.1.1 Test Materials: commercially available cabbage seed
1.1.2 Equipment: High-speed centrifuges, UV spectrophotometer, fluorescent lamps, dishes, test tubes, a mortar, TUV-2000H dual yoke water-cooled magnet .
1.2 Methods
1.2.1 Magnetic Field Treatment
Soak the cabbage seeds in clean water and after 4h, take them out and keep moisture with gauze for 12h to promote Chinese cabbage seeds to sprout and spare for the test.
100 Chinese cabbage seeds are treated with five kinds of magnetic field gradient of 0.4T, 0.8T, 1.2T, 1.6T and 2.0T with the TUV-2000H dual yoke water-cooled magnet, for 5min, 10min, 15min and 20min respectively.
