In order to obtain the optimal molecular structure for the electronic structure calculation, we performed a geometry optimization of an individual molecule of the polymer at AM1 level and then extracted the geometry of the molecule.
The AM1 program was implemented in the MOPAC package (Quantum Chemistry Program Exchange, Indiana University, USA).
The details on the electronic structure calculations were described in literature [5-7].
From the viewpoint of molecular structure, the conjugated polymer is a rigid planar structure.

In short, the molecularly imprinted polymer is prepared by mixing the template molecule with functional monomers, cross-linked under certain conditions and extracted out the template molecule[1]. molecular imprinting has become increasingly attractive in many fields of chemistry and biology, particularly as solid phase extraction, enzyme-mimicking catalyzer, chemical-bionic sensor, packing material, biological material simulation [2-4] etc.
From the two sections, the pore structure was basically same, but we could clearly observe a layer covered on the surface of the membrane.
