The manufacturing technologies are fully developed and raw materials are cheap.
Standard epoxy or polyester materials are capable for temperatures up to 150 °C before they start to degrade.
The complex processing and the high priced raw materials make them unattractive for series parts.
Inert and active filler materials minimize this issue, hence fiber reinforcement is an option.
Fig. 9: Volume of wear of the tested friction materials after pin on disc measurement Further tribological investigations will concentrate on that temperature window, combined with different fiber architecture and filler materials.

This criterion is the generalization of Griffith’s classical model to describe the development of cracks in brittle materials.
Usually, a failure criterion is assumed to be a fixed, limiting stress condition that corresponds to ultimate failure of the material.

HfB2, SiC, ZrO2, and Si3N4 attract wide focus as good second-phase materials [1-7], which improves the property of MoSi2 materials in some extent, but still with more or less problems.
Table 1 listed the main mechanical properties of main reinforced materials and MoSi2, Ti3SiC2.

Materials and Methods The raw material, oil palm frond (Elaeis quineensis Jacq.) was taken from Universiti Teknologi MARA`s (UiTM) oil palm plantation in Jengka Campus, Malaysia.
From this study, it seems that OPF can be applied as new lignocellulosic raw materials in manufacturing biocomposite boards such particleboard.

The aim of this paper was to obtain silo pressure calculating formula by consider of storage materials density stratified.
Introduction A silo is a common storage structure for a variety of bulk materials such as cement, coal, gravel, grains, and etc.
In Janssen theory, the density of the storage materials was a constant.
Pressure calculation by consider of storage materials density stratified Pressure calculation for deep bin.
