From the polarity effect, the tool electrode should be anodal, and the discharge
duration should decrease to get both more removal of the tool electrode material and less removal of
the workpiece material, which is good for the deposited material.
So it is necessary for deposited material to be removed selectively.

Abstract
Crystallographic texture of pilgered zirconium alloy tubes was analyzed by neutron diffraction, electron
backscatter diffraction (EBSD) and X-ray techniques to study bulk and local texture change with pilgering
and heat treatment above re-crystallization temperature.
Since the texture is fingerprints of the materials fabrication's history, it is important to analyze the texture for the determination of an optimum processing condition.

However, like any engineering structure, the exhaust steel tubes do occasionally fail because of the defects in the steel due to the materials or manufacturing technique.
The results shown that the bad working condition and the random overload are the main external causes, the low strain energy of the tube materials are the main internal causes.
