Abstract: SBS modified asphalt has good abilities to resisting pressure of high or low temperature and rutting in areas where changes of temperature is large.
This test consists of aging test and dynamic shear rheological test which are adopted SHRP system in the United States. aging of Asphalt can be divided into long-term aging conducted by PAV test, and short-term aging conducted in a rotating film.Dynamic shear rheological tests using dynamic shear machine which testes asphalt phase Angle, dynamic viscosity, shear modulus and dynamic elastic under different temperature conditions. In this paper, raw materials is SBS modified asphalt and 90 # CNOOC matrix asphalt (hereinafter referred to as the matrix asphalt). short-term aging tests for two kinds of asphalt were conducted under the environment of 150 ℃ rotating thin film oven over 160 min.
In figure 2, with the increase of temperature, δ of SBS modified asphalt and asphalt matrix is on the rise.the asphalt δ value is smaller, then the closer the Elastic object material, namely the applied load disappear after deformation is much easier to recover, the stronger the ability to resist permanent deformation.
