Abstract.

In 1991, Tekeuchi et al. [7] presented a CAD/CAM based system to generate collision-free tool path for machining and grinding workpieces with sculptured surface.
Application of CAD and solid modeling system in modeling of machining process were also investigated by Boogert et al. [10], Imani et al. [11], Sadeghi et al. [12], Fleisig and Spence [13] and Merdol and Altintas [14].
