The use of ceramic materials for rolling elements has practical advantages.
The RCF life of bearing balls is a main method to evaluate the performance of bearing materials and their production technology.
This test rig has been used to perform rolling contact fatigue (RCF) tests for two kinds of ZrO2 ceramic balls produced with different materials composition and identical technologies.
ZrO2 balls of two materials composition were prepared.
The fatigue performance of tested materials was reflected by their damage modes.

It has been established that finely dispersed materials in a hardening system act as crystallization centers concentrating newgrowths around themselves, which allows achieving high performance properties.
Materials and Methods In our study, cement compositions modified with stabilized finely dispersed slag suspensions and an injection solution were used as an object of study.

Table 1 and Table 2 are the chemical composition and material parameters.
In most engineering applications, though the nominal stress components endured by the components is lower than the yield strength of metal materials, the stress concentration appears at the nick regions, which can not be neglected and whose degree can be denoted by the theoretical concentration factor.
