Abstract In early 2013, the State Council promulgated the "green building action plan" .This means that the green building will be implemented from the national level in the future and it is of great significance to reduce energy consumption and to promote the development of energy-saving, green and low carbon architecture.
The regional energy-saving design must satisfy the requirements of proper attention to the summer heat and the requirements of winter insulation in the “Thermal design code for civil buildings(GB 50176-93)”.While the architecture form and space in the regional residential structure fully reflect the unique local climate conditions in this area and show the ecological architecture thought in the plane layout, space structure ,construction technology and other aspects by adapting to the nature, exploiting the nature, protecting the nature and creating livable environment through the concise and practical way.
The construction of the regional residential usually depends on the local indigenous materials ,such as civil sand, grass bamboo and other natural local materials , which reflect the plain ecological consciousness.

Abstract.
The rock mass with polycrystalline aggregates is common geomaterial in civil and architectural engineering as well as hydraulic and hydro-power engineering.
Focusing on the rock mechanics and engineering problems of columnar jointed rock mass related to Baihetan hydropower project, analytical models and numerical method based on 3DEC are employed to study the mechanical parameters.
The approach used can provide solid basis for the practical engineering and it can be used as technical guidance for other similar parameters that were difficult to be determined.

A scientific criterion is provided for the vast number of the engineering technical personnel at the grass-roots level to easily and effectively judge if the locally-deformed stone arch bridges can conform to new specifications and requirements, so this study is of important social significance and practical engineering value.
The axial forces and bending moments of all control sections were solved using analysis software Midas Civil.
A finite element model was set up using MIDAS/Civil, and the internal force and the internal force change of the arch bridge under the actions of dead load, live load, and temperature load were calculated and analyzed after it was deviated from the designed arch axis.

Abstract.
Through many examples and engineering tests, the proposed method has good comparability with other method, and it can take into account many influence factors, such as the width and embedded depth of foundation, soil gravity, layered soil and etc, and it can also trace the trend of soil failure development and make clear the failure mechanism of foundation soil.

Abstract.
Introduction As an efficient, non-destructive and rapid lining quality testing method, GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar, GPR for short) has been widely used and studied in the tunnel engineering in recent years [1-6].
Meanwhile, Fourier transformation reflects the overall characteristics of the signals, but can not describe the time-frequency local properties of the signals; but in the tunnel lining quality testing and advanced geological forecasting, the main concern is the local signals, such as the distress defects or the position and form of the unusual mutation; therefore, Fourier transformation is very difficult to satisfy the actual engineering requirements.
