Since the Vector Form Intrinsic Finite Element method is superior in managing highly nonlinear engineering problems even with fracture and collapse, it is used in this study to predict the failure process of bridges.
Introduction The Vector Form Intrinsic Finite Element (VFIFE), developed by Ting et al. [1] is superior in managing the engineering problems with material nonlinearity, discontinuity, large deformation, large displacement and arbitrary rigid body motions of deformable bodies.

However, the field of structural design in the country, accounting for the absolute authority of the software market is PKPM, almost more than 90% of the ordinary civil structural designers to use.
The ordinary civil design software, the environment which is to many building practical work condition, the too good means have not carried on the simulation.
This article through to uses PKPM to carry on the design, has been completed the ordinary civil high-rise construction carries on the pulsation experiment, will test the actual structure self oscillation cycle which obtains to lead PKPM to carry on the model to revise, and carries on the contrast with the primitive design value, draws the corresponding conclusion.
Conclusion Common structural design software without considering the interaction between soil and actual engineering environment influence, so will cause actual working circumstances building some dynamic characteristics, theoretical analysis with the measured values between have some difference.
