Hence, the manufacturing industry in Western countries, including of course the refractory industry has been affected as well as the world of engineering education as a whole, including the refractory engineering education.
No surprised hence if the refractory engineering program have been evacuated from the undergraduate curriculum in so many engineering faculties.
For this to happen, it would then be appropriate for the refractory industry to promote itself as advanced, as nano-, as bio-, as eco-, as any other industrial sectors.
