CFD(Computer Fluid Dynamics) simulation is widely used in IT industry, it usually based on the latest CPU computing power and software technology, can easily take hours even days.
The GPU accelerated CFD simulation by using massively parallel algorithm accelerated the calculation by 3.55 times.
Introduction CFD based numerical simulation has become a part of the standard procedure in thermal design and analysis of electronic systems.

Based on such a comparison of laboratory measurements and CFD modelling and simulation results, we can gain a clear evidence of the suitability and usability of CFD program even in the area of mining.

Infromation data about oil pump’s rotate speed, supplying pressure, oil temperature and oil flow rate were obtained by CFD simulation analyzing.
ANN model that used to describe the delivery performance of oil pump was employed, and the model was trained by learning samples from those CFD simulation results.
By using 49 experimental data and 49 CFD simulation data respectively, training procedures for ANN model are carried out.
Combining with CFD simulation results of pump’s internal flow field, volume of oil flow at pump’s output can be calculated.
Conclusions A simulation model based on CFD and ANN is developed to predict the delivery performance of oil pump in engines.
