Keywords: fly ash, alkali activation, increased temperature of maturing
Abstract: The article is involved in the possibility to use activated fly ashes as composite material matrices intended for extreme conditions.
Presumably this effect relates to the fact that the negative effect of gradual decomposition of aluminasilicate phases is compensated by formation of so called ceramic bond with higher temperatures.
The research within this field can´t be considered as finished, there are further experiments taking place in the THD Institute analysing the possibility to stabilise the matrix using for instance nano particles, admixtures for regulation of ceramic bond formation etc.
International Journal of Inarganic materials 2. 2000. pp.309 -317.

Abstract.
Introduction Die compaction of powders is used in a range of powder pressing industries such as powder metallurgy, industrial ceramics, hard metals, composites and functionally graded materials, detergents, nuclear fuels, pharmaceutical tablets, etc.
Materials Three classes of materials were selected for their specific compaction behaviour: microcrystalline cellulose (a polymeric powder), calcium phosphate (a ceramic like powder), Distalloy AE (an iron based powder) and a commercial ferrous powder mix.
International Journal of Pharmaceutics.

The ceramic particles, for example Al2O3 or SiO2, are often used in aluminium matrix composites [2-4], but metallic additions are also applied.
The disc shaped samples in ceramic pans were inserted into the cell with the temperature of 25 oC and heated at 20 oC/min to the temperature of 700 oC.

Research shows that High Velocity Oxygen Fuel Spray is more suitable for the preparation of WC-Co ceramic coatings, the residual stress of the coating is compressive stress, the hardness and wearability of the coating is greatly improved comparing with the substrate [2].
It can be proved from the test result that the flame temperature of the flow of HVO/AF supersonic spray is adjustable, and nano WC ceramic coating can be prepared.
