These characteristics of PLA fiber determines that it can be used for fabric, decoration materials, medical materials, nonwoven materials, biodegradable package materials, plate, water cup, etc.
To solve these disadvantages, some measures must be taken to shorten and simplify the technologic process, to reduce the costing, to use new materials to modified PLA, and to enhance fibers’ strength [7].
It can be used as the basic stuff of biomedical materials, cell culture media, implanting organ and micro millimeter-level filter materials.
PLA electrospinning nonwoven always composites with other materials.
