The understanding of how materials fail is still today a fundamental research problem for scientist and engineers.
The numerical analysis was based on the mechanical properties of a biocompatible material (AISI 316L).
Strain hardening and Bauschinger effect can be found in the material at the same time, if the component has been strengthen by tensile strain hardening, Bauschinger effect (that is a reduction of the yield strength of the material) will be found in the compressive behavior and vice versa.

Materials and Methods Bacterial strain Bifidobacterium bifidum was obtained from College of Life Science & Engineering, Shaanxi University of Science & Technology.
The five materials could significantly improve the survival rate of B. bifidum and the number of viable cells of lyophilized powder; K2HPO4 was the best cyroprotectant among the five materials.

More experience comes from books, journals, network, etc.
They need to look up materials and try to propose solutions, utilizing resource from course book, references in library and Internet.
Computer aided teaching practice Teaching web sites were set up to share learning and teaching materials, to collect homework easily, and to promote discussion online, such as site of http://auto.swu.edu.cn located in campus and site of http://www.zuotiwang.com located in the Internet.
From the feedback information of undergraduates, we can know that these web sites help to share materials and promote discussions.

Introduction Recently, high-performance(strength) steel has been increasingly used for structural materials in buildings and bridges with the demand for high-rise and long-span of main structures.
The stress-strain relationship of material tensile tests and test set-up were shown in Fig. 1.
