The production of modern large-scale prebaked aluminum electrolytic cell is usually used to cover process layer of alumina raw materials in the top of anode to reduce the anode oxidation.
However, the alumina raw material protection layer is loose, big pores, uneven, and the anode side are still exposed in CO2reacted by electrode reaction, reducing the anode caused by anodic oxidation of limited excessive consumption.

Preparation of the Al2O3/3Y-TZP ceramics by microwave sintering under low temperature Junming Luo 1,a, Jilin Xu1,b ,Hongyan Zuo1,c, and Jun Huang1,d 1School of Materials Science and Engineering, Nanchang Hangkong University, Nanchang China aljmniat@126.com, bjlxu@nchu.edu.cn, chyzuo@nchu.edu.cn and dhuangjun@nchu.edu.cn Keywords: Coprecipitation process, Al2O3/3Y-TZP, Microwave sintering, Nanometer powders Abstract.
Introduction Y-TZP ceramics, as one of the best comprehensive properties of zirconia materials, have been widely applied in the fields of chemical engineering, machinery, communication and aerospace [1].
At the same time, the Y-TZP ceramics show relative low the strength and roughness and low temperature properties, which seriously limits the further application of the materials [3-5].
Therefore, the microwave sintering possesses the advantages of low sintering temperature and short holding time, which is beneficial to obtain the fine grains and improve the strength, plasticity and roughness of the ceramic materials [9].
