The two volume fraction images in Figure 1, which are obtained from CFD numerical simulations, intuitively show the stratification and focusing behaviors of micro fluids within the device (given in the top and lateral view respectively).
The simulation results demonstrate that under the appropriate scale and motion conditions, the introduced feature steps have no substantial impact on flowing properties of the micro fluids.

C.F.D. simulations were performed to initially evaluate the frequency and velocity fields of the vortex streets for typical projectile flight: MACH 2.5 at muzzle decreasing to MACH 1.5 throughout flight range of 1000 m (Figure 9).
In turn, a simulation of bullet and harvester assembly dynamics is to be performed to evaluate the dynamic performance of the system in terms of stability and trajectory change.

The simulation findings listed below are shown and discussed. 5.1 Effect of cooling flow rate on the condenser heat load Figure 8 shows the effect of the cooling water flow rate inside the condenser pipes on the cooling load.
From the simulation results, it was obtained that by increasing the velocity of the water cooling, the efficiency of the condenser will decrease.

The objective of this study was to develop a multiphase flow simulation model for estimating the corrosion rate of oil and gas pipelines, considering the erosional effect.
The concept “corrosion-erosion” or erodision-corrosion” only appears in numerical modelling, which is studied in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) using specialised software such as ANSYS.
To control the corrosion rate in oil and gas pipelines, an enhanced multiphase flow simulation-based model was developed based on the following assumptions: i.
It is seen in Figure 1 that the new model predictions approximate the actual (field) results better than the Waard-Milliam-based simulation.
The study shows from simulations that the multiphase flow parameters have a great impact on the overall corrosion rate of oil and gas multiphase flow pipelines.
