It is observed that articles framed in the Material Sciences and Engineering areas predominate, of a transversal nature for manufacturing technologies and processes.
Articles from scientific journals included in the Q1 and Q2 quartiles of the JCR and in proceedings of international congresses of recognized prestige have been selected.

Recently, there has been a huge interest in application of thermal spraying processes to apply a protective layer on the surface of engineering components.
Thermal spraying as a near net shape forming technique has also found applications in manufacturing of advanced engineering components.
Air plasma spraying is a suitable technique to deposit superalloys on the surface of engineering components.

Introduction
Porous materials such as metal ceramic, plastic and glass have been widely utilized in the
industries of metallurgy, petroleum, chemistry, medicine and brew [1, 2].
It is difficult to study the filtration performance of the filtering material in theory [7].So to disclose the filtration mechanism, investigate the basic characteristics and general law of MR material by experiment is very important for further study and engineering application of MR material.
