Fuad et al. [9] studied the effect of silica, obtained from rice husk ash (RHA-Si), on the mechanical properties of polypropylene.
In the study of Siriwardena et al. [10], the effect of RHA-Si on the physical properties of ethylene-propylene diene rubber (EPDM) was investigated.
On the other hand, the study of Saowapark et al. [11] found that mechanical properties of deproteinized natural rubber could be improved with adding RHA-Si.

Engler et al, 2006 [2] demonstrated that mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) can differentiate into neurons, myoblast or osteoblast, according to biomaterial stiffness.
Bernards et al, 2008 [6] studied osteoblasts MC3T3-E1 adhesion on hydroxyapatite, (HA), substrates adsorbed with bone sialoprotein, bone osteopontin, and bovine serum albumin (BSA).
Thian et al. [8] studied the behavior of human adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells on zinc-substituted hydroxyapatite (ZnHA) and hydroxyapatite (HA).
A similar result was reported by Rhee et al. [12] that demonstrated that spreading of fibroblasts cells occurs by lamellipodial extensions on 2D collagen-coated coverslips and by dendritic extensions on 3D relaxed collagen matrices.

Belly et al. [9] classified coils based upon their applications as compression coil to compress the tubular component, expansion coil to expand the tube and flat spiral coil that is used in various sheet metal forming processes.
In the electromagnetic sheet metal forming using flat spiral coil, the magnetic force generated is not uniform with minimum magnetic field at the centre of the coil [10,11].Kamal et al. [12] studied various types of flat coils and magnetic force pattern developed by them and fabricated a new type of flat coil to generate uniform pressure on the workpiece.

In situ distractibility was also seen as an advantage by Knop et al [23].
Moreover, the Obelisc cage has spikes, the importance of which was stressed by Morlock et al [24] in a study on human cadaver specimens.
