Introduction Dielectric Electro Active Polymers are new category materials.
The DEAP materials for energy scavenging allow large mechanical deformation combined with low operating forces and a very energy density.
The low cost of DEAP materials is promising for their applications, but more development of DEAP electronics is needed before we know how they will compare to competitive approaches in smaller, cost-sensitive applications.

To improve high temperature stability performance, some additive materials, such as cement, slaked lime and lignin were mixed into open graded asphalt friction course (OGFC).

Model well reflect a higher elastic modulus of the upper material that can do the deed to the spatial diffusion which is cause by the excavation subgrade stress, and it also can reduce settlement in the strata above the tunnel and the stress near the tunnel arch crown.
