At present, phosphor materials have been mainly prepared by a solid-state reaction technique.
The raw materials were Eu2O3 (99.99%), Ca(NO3)2·4H2O (analytical grade), 4MgCO3·Mg(OH)2·4H2O (analytical grade), ethyl silicate (analytical grade), ethanol (analytical grade), nitric acid (analytical grade) , citric acid (analytical grade), hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) (analytical grade), and triethanolamine (analytical grade) .

The problem of crack path stability along the interface between two orthotropic elastically dissimilar materials under the presence of in-plane residual stresses is analyzed using the concept of Finite Fracture Mechanics and matched asymptotic procedure.
As pointed out by Leguillon [2], the main role of residual thermal stresses in fracture problems of composite materials consists in modifying the stress intensity factor, which by the principle of superposition, can be expressed as the sum of mechanical loading contribution and thermal stresses contribution.
