In the "science" magazine, aerogel was listed as one of ten major science and technology [10].
Although the ambient pressure is industrialization of aerogel materials preparation and application of preferred dry method, but its drying process still needs to be optimized.The studying of aging,modifying and the replacement of aerogel will help to improve the performance of aerogel materials.

Manufacturing of Composite and Hybrid Materials by Semi Solid Forming

For this reason, the manufacturing of composite and hybrid materials is in focus of academic and industrial research.
These elements consist of specified combinations of different materials, or classes of materials, in the sense of reinforced lightweight metal matrices.
By means of such constitutive and structural material combinations, on the one hand, higher degrees of lightweight materials are obtained for structural elements and, on the other, intrinsic constitutive functions are produced, which visibly deviate from those of monolithic, metallic materials.
In addition further light-weight materials and filamentary reinforcing components will be investigated in this context.
For this reason, the manufacturing of composite and hybrid materials is in focus of academic and industrial research.

Synthesis and Fluorescence Properties of a New Eu(III) Complexes with β-Diketone Ligand

In order to obtain new rare earth fluorescence materials with effective luminescent properties, a new type of β-diketone ligand was synthesized in this work.
Experimental Materials. 4-Aminoacetophenone(99%) was obtained from Alfa Aesar, benzylbromide(CP) and europium oxide(Eu2O3, EP) were both purchased from Sinopharm Chemical Reagent Co.
Due to its good thermal stability, it can be used as promising candidates for applications in organic light-emitting materials.
