The lower cost and
higher reliability for LED source can be obtained through reasonable selection of materials and
structure parameters of the LED lighting system.
Temperature distributions on packaging body are predicted under different materials and structure parameters.
For the optimization of LED packaging materials and structure parameters, the results show that the junction temperature can be decreased effectively by increasing the height of the heat sink, the width of the fin, and the thermal conductivity of the chip substrate and die attach materials.

Exprimental Materials Poly(vinyl alcohol) (Technica grade, supplied by Sinopec Sichuan Vinylon Works); organic borate crosslinker(Self designed) [7]; slowly releasing acids breaking agent (Self designed); sodium hydroxide (Analytically pure, provided by Zhengzhou Peny Chemical Reagent Co., Ltd.); experimental water is deionized water.

Because silicon carbide ceramics are brittle materials with high hardness, during the grinding process the abrasive scratch action makes the lateral cracks in the subsurface of scratch.
The maximum depth of sub-surface crack size directly affects the performance of the material.
