This work is focused on improving the compaction energy, engineering properties and rutting resistance of bituminous mixture by using the aggregate packing concept.
Developed mixture showed better engineering properties at 50 blows compaction, and these engineering properties satisfied the requirements of the appropriate type of mix as given in Table 4.10 in JKR Manual (Test and Analysis Parameters for Asphaltic Concrete) [7].
