In order to calculate the service life as precisely and reliably as possible we need good mathematical models for describing loading, geometry, properties of materials and fracture mechanics parameters.
The basic aim of the measurements was to obtain a correlation between the micro crack length and stresses and/or how to conclude from the stress what happen in the material, when the crack occurs.
Therefore, for calculations we have developed the gear stress intensity factor K which takes into account not only the stress of homogeneous material in critical cross section but also the stress concentration due to defects occurring there.

This resulted in enhancing the wettability of both materials but with more pronounced effect on the PP.
Recently, the atmospheric-pressure plasma techniques are increasingly being used for the treatment of the textile materials.
The properties of these materials are illustrated in Table 1.
In both cases, expensive and rare materials were utilized to manufacture the plasma reactor while in this work cost-effective material and simple manufacturing technique were employed.

Introduction There has been recent interest in reinforcing polymer materials using a variety of methods to increase their strength.
Their results found that the mechanical behaviors and thermal properties of PP were enhanced, while also providing a significant way to recycle waste materials.
