The coupling model has been successfully used in studies of complex co-operative systems in non crystalline materials such as polymers, glassy and amorphous materials.
It can also be used in materials science to analyse response (mainly internal friction) of complicated materials where information in the spectroscopic sense is limited or unavailable.

But as the cutting speed increased further (higher cutting speeds), thermal softening effect is not the single factor which affected cutting force, strength of materials increased resulting in the decrease of cutting forces and the trend became slow.

Materials and design is complementary to each other, a variety of designs reveal its face through the materials, and express the properties of materials through designs.
Therefore, we can select furniture materials based on the following basic criteria: (1)Fewer use the short or scarce materials, and use the materials compatible with the environment as far as possible, and use recyclable materials frequently
(2)Use the toxic and hazardous materials as few as possible, and give priority to using the materials with easy decomposing, easy recycle and less pollution
