Further, the samples of natural and thermally modified peat were investigated for a number of physico-chemical properties, such as elemental composition, group composition, functional composition by IR-spectroscopy and structure of paramagnetic species of peat by electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy.

Sonochemical method, which is simple and operated under ambient conditions, has been proven to be a useful route for the preparation of inorganic materials with unusual structures, shapes and properties.
Zhu et al. reported the preparation of PbWO4 nanocrystals with polyhedral, spindle-like, dot-shaped, dendritic, flowery and star-like structures via a mild sonochemical route [1, 2].
The study of rare-earth fluorides is currently an active research field in modern materials chemistry due to their many potential applications in optics, biological labeling, catalysis fields, etc [5].

Abstract: NiMgAlO catalysts were prepared by two methods: coprecipition and impregnation.
Hydrotalcite-like compounds (HTLcs) have a layer structure and broad application prospects.
It has a typical HTLcs structure.
It has the same structure as the MgAl-HTLcs.
The lamellar structure disappears and only a MgO phase is observed for all samples, the reflections of NiO and Al2O3 are absent .This is in agreement with other reported results for this calcination temperature [10].

Xanthan gum is a polysaccharide of microbial synthesis produced by xanthomonas campestris, whose chemical structure is presented in the literature [9, 10].
At the supermolecular level, the macromolecules of XG adopt a double helicoidal structure stabilized by inter and intramolecular hydrogen bonds [12].
According to the Fig. 2 and Fig. 3, the absorption was observed at 3429 cm-1 (hydroxyl stretch influenced by hydrogen bond), 2918 cm-1 (methylene), 1400 cm-1 (carbonyl stretch) and 1068 cm-1 (b-1,4-glycosidic bond), which were characteristic absorptions in XG structures.
From the above FTIR information, it can be concluded that the polymer structure of SAP (XG-g-PAA /AC or XG-g-PAA /OMMT) was formed during the reaction.
