The aim of this work was to investigate the pozzolanic properties of waste paper pulp ash and how they affect high-performance concrete (HPC).
The findings indicated that FA and GGBFS, SF, and hybrid fibres notably enhanced the residual mechanical properties of HPC.

When the characteristic size diminishes from macro to micro level, the volume reducing factor is more than 106 times to the surface reducing factor.
From the above analysis, it is known that the MEMS fuze mechanism is quite different from the traditional fuze mechanism in the aspects of processing technology, material property, structure form and “micro size effect”, which are the basic factors leading to the reliability problems of MEMS mechanism with large difference from traditional mechanism.
Environment stress is the important factor inducing MEMS mechanism failure.
Surface corrosion may change the property of material surface such as roughness and surface force etc, which affect the function of MEMS fuze mechanism seriously.
Different from the steady performance of body structural material, the property of electroforming material may be affected by many factors such as temperature of electroforming liquid, pH value and current density etc.

Corrosion is the continuous destructive phenomenon of a material or its properties through the effects of unwanted chemical or electrochemical reactions with its environment, which may cause deterioration of the surface of the structural properties of the iron component [3].
The analysis reveal that several factors contributed to the corrosion-related failure of the cargo ship’s hull.

By identifying relevant influences and associated characteristics affecting events, basic parameters regarding segregation of batches can be found.
Based on the factors identified, a meaningful batch ID may be generated including information on changes in particular parameters by encoding each parameter into the ID.
However, there is no 100 safety regarding resulting quality of a product because of unknown factors such as processing conditions of supplied parts.
Hence, these properties and the influences on them would be sufficient to differentiate batches for the customer.
Although this increases the usefulness of the batch subdivision and facilitates root cause analysis, it does not yet allow the customer to evaluate which factors could be responsible for a problem.

Introduction Physicochemical properties of nanomaterials are greatly affected by their morphology.
Additionally, gas sensing properties towards 100 ppm ethanol vapor of the synthesized materials were tested.
Since gas sensitivity of SnO2 to a great extent depends on the presence of various defects in its crystal structure, possibly the co-solvents used have differently affected their formation and as a result they could affect gas sensing properties of the synthesized structures [8].

Therefore, plastic strain introduced by the cold working must be considered as a factor affecting the hydrogen embrittlement in addition to the applied stress and the content of diffusible hydrogen entered into steels, which are considered as factors in the studies of high strength steel bolts.
Mechanical properties of the steel are shown in Table 1.

Hand-welded and automatically uniform welds of Sanicro 25 are evaluated in material studies, and the structure and basic mechanical properties of welded joints are examined.
Microstructure and hardness properties.
These factors had a significant impact on the relatively low strength and ductility of the joint.
The hardness of the weld joint did not exceed 210 HV, and showed good mechanical properties.

The Newton iterative algorithm is applied to calculate the modified formula, and the mechanical fatigue life of piston pin seat is obtained.
It endures cyclic heat and mechanical loads at work.
The investigations previous indicated that heat load was the major factor to cause ablation and heat crack of the piston head, and mechanical load was easy to bring crack at piston pin seat.
Although the overall structure is at the elastic state, the stress concentration point has developed into plastic state, and the existence of the plastic strain makes the stress-strain properties relatively complex.
Especially for low cycle fatigue and few high cycle fatigues [1], the plastic strain becomes the main factor to affect the fatigue life.

Mechanical properties of (001) Mo and (001) Mo - 1.5 at.% Ir single crystals have been studied by nanoindentation.
Mechanical properties of the (001) Mo and (001) Mo - 1.5 at% Ir single crystals.
So, the addition of Ir to Mo increases the τcrit value by a factor of about two.
Summary Mechanical properties of pure Mo and Mo - 1.5 at% Ir single crystals (nanohardness, elastic modulus, critical shear stress for dislocation nucleation) have been studied by nanoindentation.
The last factor is decisive for the increase of the Mo - Ir single crystal hardness.
