Introduction Portland cement is widely used for civil construction works included cement and concrete infrastructures.
This residue consists of suitable SiO2 and Al2O3 contents which can be used as raw material for the manufacturing of civil construction materials.
Although this research work on strength suggests that this waste residue might be suitable to produce civil construction materials, more detailed investigation is still required to improve the physical and mechanical properties.
