Knowledge Management in Material Science & Engineering Knowledge Acquisition an Involvement of Semantic Technologies.
Knowledge and semantic based methods may be applied for representing and reasoning in material engineering, and consequently supporting the development of sustainable materials.
They work together, to e.g. gather market demands and developments for (smart) materials, run material innovation processes, evaluate material sustainability factors, gather consequences for material and product engineering, or publicize common research material.

Introduction Reverse engineering (RE) is defined as the process of obtaining a geometric CAD model from point cloud acquired by scanning/digitizing existing products without any technical details, such as drawings, bills-of-material.
Creation of CAD model Blades surface model could not be gave elastic modulus, poisson ratio and other material features, and could not use computer-aided engineering analysis (CAE), surface model should be changed to CAD model.
Conclusions This paper reconstructs CAD model of blades based on reverse engineering, and NC simulation processing is executed; analysis the key technology in blades reverse engineering model reconstruction, put forward one model reconstruction method to improve blades design efficiency.

Different engineering conditions and geological conditions will lead to different safety degree and failure mode of dam foundation.
Engineering conditions The outline of dam body and the distribution of rock body and structural planes in dam foundation are shown in Fig.1.The dam body section is 154 meters high, with the dam crest width of 50m and the dam bottom width of 166m.
The interbedded strata JC2-5~JC2-8, consecutive crushed zones Pn and the dam foundation surface are simulated by joint materials because they are slim and obviously anisotropic, other materials are simulated by isotropic elements.

In the design phase, the main work of information integration is the integration of the design data and some related information, such as the plant layout, materials lists, cost data and the relevant design information.
Data processing is the key for the data integration turning to application integration.
Its function modules including: progress information, quality information, cost information、Materials information、design information and others.
Under the Internet environment, it provides an efficient platform for project participants to exchange information (Project Communication) and joint work(Collaboration). The main functions provided by chemical engineering project management platform are shown in Figure 6, including: technology management, quality management, schedule management, cost management, materials management, document management, project management and coordination , knowledge management etc.

Research on Key Technology of Normal Grain Growth for Second Phase Particle Materials by Cellular Automata Simulation Gu Zonglei a, Yin Yuliang b College of Mechanical Engineering,Linyi University,Linyi, Shandong,P.
But the related research about CA model is rarely reported, and obviously there is a great disparity compared with its successful application on single phase materials grain growth simulation. [6-7] The paper set up a model including second phase particle materials normal grain growth based on the cellular automata method and mainly focused on the key technologies about the second phase particle generation. 2.
