This paper uses the small punch test (SPT) to some performance of the materials, have put forward basic method to test the material tensile mechanics performance from an inverse FE method with SPT.
One is made of homogeneous materials, such as AL alloy 6063.
Another is made of inhomogeneous materials such as a sheet butt joints welded by TIG.

However, the aim of the work is to develop a bi-dimensional and a three-dimensional in-house code that gather all the cases of boundary conditions (imposed temperature, convection, insulated surface, heat flux), with or without heat source, different materials, for a permanent regime or a transitional regime.
The fin material is homogenous, so its thermal conductivity remains constant.
