Introduction The mechanical, magnetic, electrical, and thermal properties of several materials can be modified without necessarily changing their chemical composition, with a simple change of the molecular structure.
In this sense, it is important to study the factors that influence the change of the internal structure in a certain material, therefore from the control of the involved variables, materials with superior properties, smaller specific mass and better corrosion, oxidation, wear resistance can be obtained [1].
Thus, the knowledge and the control of the involved thermal parameters are very important in Materials Engineering, once the temperature levels and the cooling rates are deterministic to the specification of the properties that the material will attain after the thermal treatment [3].
