The thermal conductivity of CPVC material is very less than the metals used in practice.
Selecting CPVC as pipe material gave influential results leaving less heat losses to surroundings.

This experimental study explored the possibility of sustainable invigoration of fine waste materials in dune sand to improve the geotechnical properties.
The sands are usually fine-grained and poorly graded materials with a small amount of silt [1].
The utilization of waste materials as additives in sand improvement is more attractive to cut the carbon footprint associated with the natural material’s processing resources [6].
(a) Marble waste (b) Dune sand (c) Reservoir sediment 100mm 10mm 10mm Fig. 1 Photomicrographs of materials (note the scale difference).
The maximum and minimum void ratios of sand increased by adding fine waste materials (Fig. 4).

The properties of the alternative building wall materials are identified and compared with that of conventional bricks.
Availability of alternative building materials.
The materials were properly weathered and their properties were studied with the help of literature reviews (Annexure-I).
Additionally, the block is produced using locally available materials and resources, and is therefore socio-economically feasible.
Pitroda: Fly ash brick: Glass fibre the innovative concept for getting higher strength brick, International Journal of Innovative Research in Science, Engineering and Technology Vol. 2, No.3, (2013) [14] S.
