Abstract.
Super Material Abrasive Resistant Tool (SMART*CUT) based on TSDC tip has been developed by CSIRO to improve the effectiveness of cutting tools when dealing with hard rock excavation in mining and civil industries.
Introduction Mechanical excavation machines have been widely used in mining and civil industries as they have many advantages such as productive, reliable, environment friendly, easy to automation, continuous and selective mining, controllable of the chip size and safe in comparison with the conventional drill & blast technique [1-5].
Acknowledgment The authors would like to thank Peter Clark and Craig Harbers of CSIRO Earth Science and Resource Engineering for their technical supports in rock cutting tests.

Introduction With the increase of the number of old buildings, concrete structure reinforcement and reconstruction and old concrete structure crack control in civil engineering is of far-reaching significance. As an important reinforcing material, the good performance of grouting material has been widely accepted by the civil engineering field.
Formula fitting.According to the analysis of the relationship of stress and temperature, calculate the fitting curves, and comparison of test curve and fitting curve is shown in Fig 6.Fitting formulas for the fitting curves are shown in Eq.1,which is convenient to be used in practical engineering.Specific formula need to be collected after studying the material property such as the compressive relationship,Elastic Modulus,Poisson's ratio, etc.

Features of Application of Modern Wooden Structure into Reconstruction in Wenchuan-Earthquake Region

Authors: Yong Cao
Traditional brick and reinforced concrete structures are the usual material and structure systems used in civil architecture and structure, yet showed defects in their seismic-resistant performance.
Most architects and civil engineer have little knowledge on it.
The contribution and cooperation from civil society and businesses played a important role firstly, Subsequent support from government extended the range of applications of modern wood construction.
Its teaching building and student apartment built with light wood-framed structure (Fig. 2), and the dining hall of the canteen used heavy wood frame, which consist of large cross-sectioned beam and column made by glulam or other engineered wood.
Journal of Sichuan University, Engineering Science Edition,(China) Vol. 42-Supp1 (2010), p.132-139.
