Micro abrasive jet machining (MAJM) is a high effective economical technology for three
dimensional micro structure fabrications of brittle materials.
Therefore it is promising to make and micro-machine small parts of MEMS and other three-dimensional components of brittle materials using MAJM.
One of the practical applications of the MAJM process is decorating or texturing brittle materials.

Nano cemented carbide is a new style cutter material.
The better wear resistance and toughness of cemented carbide makes it fit for cutting the materials with higher hardness intermittently and at a low-speed, so the tool life is better than the ordinary carbide tool in the processing of marble.
Conclusions This paper studied the cutting performance of nano-cemented carbide tool cutting marble, and the following results are obtained: In contrast to ordinary cemented carbide cutting tools, nano-cemented carbide cutting tools have the advantage of better wear resistance, impact resistance, and higher tool life, more suitable for cutting marble and other hard and brittle materials.

The material was made at a size of 1cm*7cm, and 6μl distilled water was dropped on the surface of samples, the images of contact moment between drop and material surface were recorded.
Cytotoxicity grade was evaluated on the basis of National Biomedical Materials Cytotoxicity Rating Standard.
