Then, experiments were carried out in a spinning disk test rig with variable speed of spinning and results were compared with CFD simulation.
Hydrodynamics Modeling Using CFD Assumptions were made during simulation of the flow of thin liquid film over horizontal spinning disk.
Table 1 summarizes values of model parameters and conditions applied for the CFD simulation.
The comparison results of thin liquid film thickness across the radial position of disk surface between experimental and CFD simulation are shown in Figure 4 and 5.
Generally, the profiles of thin liquid film thickness from the experimental and CFD simulation results showed similar changes where thinning effect of liquid film in radial location can clearly observe.

The various stages performed in CFD simulation of Solar PV/T panel are geometric modelling, meshing or grid generation, setup and solution and results. 1.
It is designed to enable easy visualization and quantitative analysis of the results of CFD simulations.
The experiment is carried out from 8 am to 5 pm and readings are noted in 1 hour interval and the individual CFD simulation at each hour is also carried out for the corresponding inputs at that time.
Although there are some small discrepancies due to some assumptions and meshing imperfectness matters, the CFD simulation program can be confidently used even for solving more complex solar PV/T problems.

CFD Simulation of Pyrolysis of Lignite in a Downstream Fluidized Bed Yongli Sun1, a, Rong Zhang1, b, Lvhong Zhang1, c and Yanan Zhang1, d 1School of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Tianjin University,Tianjin, China asunyongli@tju.edu.cn, bzhangr1988@sina.cn, czhanglvh@tju.edu.cn, dzyn820109@163.com Keywords: CFD simulation; lignite particle; pyrolysis; fluidized bed Abstract.
This paper works with the CFD simulation of the process of pyrolysis of lignite particles in a downstream fluidized bed, which actually means the particles would fall down from the injection point and escape the furnace from the bottom.
Introduction Several models which can be applied to the simulation of the process of pyrolysis have been developed by numbers of researchers [1-9].
The parameters used in the simulation are given in the Table. 2.

Studies have shown that combining with the specific engineering practice, the application of CFD on the flow field simulation has a certain reference value for the design and optimization of the sweeper airstream system.
Fig.5 The improved model of airstream system Fig.6 Contour of static pressure in new model Summary According to this engineering practice, the numerical simulation is successfully completed by the use of CFD.
The simulation analysis by CFD should be combined with the actual characteristics of the project; additionally the related experiments and numerical simulations should be unified.
