Then, experiments were carried out in a spinning disk test rig with variable speed of spinning and results were compared with CFD simulation.
Hydrodynamics Modeling Using CFD Assumptions were made during simulation of the flow of thin liquid film over horizontal spinning disk.
Table 1 summarizes values of model parameters and conditions applied for the CFD simulation.
The comparison results of thin liquid film thickness across the radial position of disk surface between experimental and CFD simulation are shown in Figure 4 and 5.
Generally, the profiles of thin liquid film thickness from the experimental and CFD simulation results showed similar changes where thinning effect of liquid film in radial location can clearly observe.

The results obtained by CFD simulation are validated with experimental results.
The various stages performed in CFD simulation of Solar PV/T panel are geometric modelling, meshing or grid generation, setup and solution and results. 1.
It is designed to enable easy visualization and quantitative analysis of the results of CFD simulations.
The experiment is carried out from 8 am to 5 pm and readings are noted in 1 hour interval and the individual CFD simulation at each hour is also carried out for the corresponding inputs at that time.
Although there are some small discrepancies due to some assumptions and meshing imperfectness matters, the CFD simulation program can be confidently used even for solving more complex solar PV/T problems.

CFD Simulation of Pyrolysis of Lignite in a Downstream Fluidized Bed Yongli Sun1, a, Rong Zhang1, b, Lvhong Zhang1, c and Yanan Zhang1, d 1School of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Tianjin University,Tianjin, China asunyongli@tju.edu.cn, bzhangr1988@sina.cn, czhanglvh@tju.edu.cn, dzyn820109@163.com Keywords: CFD simulation; lignite particle; pyrolysis; fluidized bed Abstract.
This paper works with the CFD simulation of the process of pyrolysis of lignite particles in a downstream fluidized bed, which actually means the particles would fall down from the injection point and escape the furnace from the bottom.
Introduction Several models which can be applied to the simulation of the process of pyrolysis have been developed by numbers of researchers [1-9].
The parameters used in the simulation are given in the Table. 2.

Investigation of CFD method simulating hydrodynamic performance of AUV with complicated shape WANG Yaxing1,a, PANG Yongjie1, GAO Ting1, Wang Jian1 1 Science and Technology on Underwater Vehicle Laboratory, Harbin Engineering University, Harbin, 150001, China awang-yaxing@hrbeu.edu.cn Keywords: PMM; AUV; CFD Abstract: Analyze veracity and computing efficiency of direct route drag of axis symmetry revolution body with 2D Computer Fluid Dynamic (CFD) method by comparing to the experiment data, discuss affection of different wall boundary functions to the results when calculating Automatic Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) hydrodynamic performance in CFD method.
CFD simulation of direct or oblique towing test Steady RANS equations could be adopted to calculate force and moment of AUV when simulating direct, or oblique, towing test, because relative motion does not happen.
Force calculation of non-revolution body and ordinary AUV. 2D method could not be applied to simulation of non-revolution body and ordinary AUV, however, most AUVs are bilateral symmetry, half of a fluid field could be meshed to do the simulation, this is also a good method to save time.
