Introduction Engineering ceramic materials have many application in mechenics, electronics, chemistry engineering and other fields, because of their high hardness, high-temperature strength, good wear resistance and good corrosion resistance.
Engineering ceramics are usually produced from powders densified to solid products by high-temperature pressing and sintering techniques.

In this paper, experiments on commercially available lead zirconate titanate (PZT) ceramic samples have been designed.
Zheng et al [5-9] found that if eliminating the electrical load across the PZT sample and removing the electrodes coated on the surface of the PZT ceramic, black spots can be observed in the body of the PZT ceramic sample.
