Plasma transfer arc (PTA) process used in the surface engineering industry has become competitive as its contribution of improving wear-resistant hardfacing surfaces has been found significant [1].
In addition, hardfacing-used materials, such as cobalt-base, nickel-base, or ceramic material, can be used for the PTA-coating procedure [5-7].

Introduction The application of cluster analysis extends from science to engineering, medicine, business, and other fields.
We arranged this paper as follows: In section 2, introduced data preprocessing of engineering cost; in section 3, proposed the hybrid spectral clustering algorithm to deal with the mixed numeric; section 4 displayed the system implementation; section 5 is experimental results, and a detail discussion was given in last section. 2.
Finally, our algorithm is sensitive to the parameters, and need a large number of experiments or engineering experience to get reasonable parameters values.
