In recent years, use biotechnology, nano-materials absorption methods to treat containing heavy metal waste water aroused the attention of environmental workers.
Nano-materials are ultrafine powders below 100 nm diameter, because of its small size effect, quantum effect (including macroscopic quantum tunneling effect), surface effect and interface effect, when the material was crushed to a particle size of nanometer scale (1 100nm), the material surface characteristics and the crystal structure changed significantly, with the smaller particle size and nano-materials, the number of surface atoms, surface area, surface energy and surface binding energy increases rapidly.
Analysis of SEM and EDS The scanning electron microscope and energy spectra of layerenano-nano-materials of zinc hydroxide adsorption of heavy metal ions Pb2+ . we can see that nano materials nano-layered zinc hydroxide adsorbed a layer of material, a small number of nano-materials layered zinc hydroxide took place to reunion.
