Active Earth Pressure on Retaining Walls with Layered Cohesive Backfills and considering cracking Xiyan Jiang 1, a,Suwei Di1,b 1Hebei Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering ,Zhang jiakou 075024 , China ajxyjhy@163.com, bdisuwei@126.com Keywords: Layered cohesive backfills ,Retaining wall , Active earth pressure .
Introduction The determination of the magnitude and distribution of earth pressure against rigid retaining wall is important in the design of civil engineering.
In practical engineering, the wall is often encountered in condition of layered backfills , so to carry out studies of this problem has some practical significance. active earth pressure on retaining walls with layered non-cohesive backfills is discussed from reference [3].

High-Strength Concrete Structure Strengthened With CFRP: Experimental Study and Nonlinear FE Analysis Hong Hai 1, a, Yinghua Zhao 2,b , Liye Sun 1,c 1 Department of Civil Engineering, Shenyang Jianzhu University, Shenyang 110168, China 2Road & Bridge Research Institute, Dalian Maritime University, Dalian 116026,China acehhai@sjzu.edu.cn , byhzhao@newmail.dlmu.edu.cn, cly_sun5@126.com Keywords: CFRP, High-strength concrete , LS-DYNA, Explicit Finite Element , Shear.
Introduction The high-strength concrete has been widely used and made significant technical and economic benefits because of its high strength, good durability, small deformation, etc., it can meet the requirement of large span, over loading and high-rise development of modern engineering structures.
Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) are being considered for use in the field of civil infrastructure as strengthening and rehabilitation materials because of the characteristics of high strength, high stiffness, light-weight, excellent corrosion resistance, ease and speed of installation, etc.
The research on strengthening structure technology is concurrent with engineering application.
