Tests of ergosterol, which is a component of most fungi’s cell membrane, allow us to monitor the level of fungi infestation of diverse materials.
Modern methods used to identify the presence of fungi in, among other things, construction materials, are based on e.g. ergosterol determination.
The use of ergosterol to monitor the level of fungi infestation in materials is the subject of many analyses.
During the conservation and restoration of antique floors it is important to pay special attention to preventive measures related to materials and structures.

Introduction
Zinc oxide (ZnO) nanostructures are materials that exhibit unique properties and have gained significant attention in various fields of science and technology.
Conclusions Photoluminescence in nanostructures of zinc oxide (ZnO) doped with erbium (Er) is a topic of interest in materials science and photonics due to its potential applications in optoelectronic devices, such as light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and lasers.

Abstract.
Introduction The subject of the grain-boundary segregation of solute has attracted considerable attention, since it is widely recognized that such solute segregation not only control many of the mechanical, chemical and electronic properties of technologically important materials, but also induce grain boundary structural transformations.

If the cross-section has no materials termed empty field, the measured values consist of K groups of regular distributions.
When there are materials in the cross-section, these measured decay rates are irregular.
The tested original images are a group of circles with continuously distributed materials, as shown in the first column in Table 1.
