Photo-catalysis experiment: The photo-catalysis experiment took place in the self-made photo-chemistry reactor.
Characterization of the samples: All the phased that make up the substances have specific crystal structures (lattice type, the shape and size of the crystals, structural motif of the respected crystal and so on) so that they have different X-ray diffraction pattern characteristics (the location and intensity of the diffracted ray).

To understand biological activity of both ligands and their complexes it is necessary to know not only their structure but also the stability of the formed compounds.
Different from thermal degradation of [Pt(apsox)Cl] complex, the degradation of the structure of Pd(II) complex (Fig. 3) containing apsox ligand in the coordination sphere, starts at 290 °C to reach at 600 °C a mass loss of 58%.

Experimental Materials Poly(L-lactide) (PLA) (Mw=8,000) was purchased from Changchun institute of applied chemistry academy of sciences.
With the addition of nanorods, the filbers appear the porous structure that increase the specific surface area of fiber film, which improved  the application as a biological material.
The results show that electrospinning synthesis of PLA fiber film containing silver nanorods have a structure of porous fiber film.

(a) (b) Figure 1: Geopolymer chemistry with respect to cements (a) and ceramic materials (b).
Geopolymerization Chemistry Starting from the very well-known definition that geopolymers consist of a polymeric Si–O–Al 3D framework, similar to zeolites, but predominately amorphous instead of crystalline, we can easily accept the fact that from the chemical point of view there are two parameters that govern the stability of the nanostructure: Si/Al and Na/Al molar ratios.
At low sodium content, insufficient OH- to completely dissolve Si4+ and Al3+ and insufficient Na+ for complete network polymerization; while at high sodium content, excess of OH-, allowing for a complete dissolution of Si4+ and Al3+, but excess of sodium, weakens the structure.
Hazardous Inorganic Waste Mixed to Metakaolin Geopolimers The peculiar nanometric structure of the geopolymers, resembling nanozeolites, allow the allocation of cations and anions in stable sub- or crypto-crystalline matrices.

Conclusions Thus, the results of experimental studies give reason to draw the following conclusions: - the concentration dependence σ of bentonite suspensions is characterized by a local minimum in the region of a low solids content (3-4%); - with an increase in the degree of dispersion, the minimum depth at the isotherms σ of bentonite suspensions decreases, which indicates that the extrema at the isotherms σ in bentonite suspensions are directly related to particle sizes (dispersion); - the observed decrease or complete smoothing of the minimum at the σ isotherms after dispersion of the solid phase particles suggests that the presence of coarse particles, along with colloidal ones, is an important condition for the formation of spatial structures in bentonite suspensions.

The investigation was carried out at the National Centre for Micro and Nanomaterials, part of the Department of Science and Engineering of Oxide Materials and Nanomaterials from the Faculty of Applied Chemistry and Materials Science at POLITEHNICA University, Bucharest.
Fig. 12 Specimens investigated with SEM and EDAX (credit Roxana Trușcă, Vasile Bogdan, National Centre for Micro and Nanomaterials) The investigation of the specimens was carried out with SEM, for the study of the surfaces’ appearance and with backscattered electron imagery, for the alloy’s grain structure analysis.
The analyzed specimens microstructure of primary aluminium dendrites and substantial amount of different intermetallic phases constituents varied in shape, size and distribution (i.e.: needle, plate-like or “Chinese script”) These are located at the grain boundaries of α-Al as a dendritic network structure.
