Elastic modulus of the material isn’t the same, the elastic modulus of steel is 210GPa, but elastic modulus of high-pressure PE material is 1.5 ~ 2.5GPa, a far from the elastic modulus of steel.

However in this two-liquid casting method, heat removal occur not only the interface of alloy but also the inside of the bulk material by heat transfer between droplets has higher and lower liquidus temperature.
Therefore even in large scale applications, it is possible to achieve undercooling effect at the inside of bulk material.
Two sets of experiments were carried out for the same materials under the similar quench condition.
The materials are mixture of 50 wt % pure Sn and 50 wt % Sn60Pb40 alloy.

Yb:YAG is a new material which is especially suitable for semiconductor diodes (Laser diode, LD) after Nd:YAG laser crystal that pumped solid state lasers.
Experiment Adopt the purity of 5N Yb2O3, Nd2O3, Y2O3 and Al2O3 as raw materials, put all kinds of high purity oxide powders in stoichiometric accurate weighing, after several hours in the air in 1000 ℃ calcination, add the mixture 12h to the mold.
Then pressing material in the press on the 1200KN.
