This research combined these two waste materials in studying the potential of using them to produce structural concrete. 2.0 RESEARCH PROGRAM 2.1 Materials The mix composition was made of fine aggregate from the stone dust retained in a 2.38 mm sieve which was supplied from a quarry in Selangor, Malaysia.
Generally, it can be observed that addition of both materials have decreased the workability of mortar.

The commercially available piezoelectric ceramic fibers or rods are based on lead zirconate titanate (PZT) compositions due to the superior electrical properties of these materials [2,3].
However, in the last decades use of lead based materials in every aspect of life is gradually being restricted through national laws or directives of international bodies due to the toxicity of lead and electronic equipment is no exception in this trend [4] and the ban will eventually be imposed on the piezoelectric materials as well.

Introduction Damping materials have been used in a variety of engineering applications for the purpose of noise and vibration reduction [1].
Different mechanisms operate in different damping materials to reduce noise and vibration.
The alloys were prepared from raw materials above 99.0% purity and melted in a high frequency induction furnace under vacuum.
This is similar to the magnetomechanical damping character of ferromagnetic materials observed by Cochardt.
