Gear is a component made of metal materials, and it is possible for a bonding to emerge between metal materials if high temperature is caused by such two components in their meshing.
Material selection The quality of materials plays a great influence on the mechanical properties of gear, and the standards for the gears made of different materials are also different.
First, the nonmetallic materials are commonly used in the mechanical drive of small strength, and bakelite and plastic materials can be chosen for these gears.
Second, metal materials are very applicable to the spare parts of machinery equipment, and iron, steel, and aluminum are very practical materials.

Material and test specimen The material used in this work is stainless steel AISI 316L, which is one of the most utilized steel in the area of biomechanics.
The stress-strain curve for this material was obtained by four point bending tests (Fig. 3) [8].

Research on the Three-dimensional Displaying of STL ASCII and Binary File Ying Zhang1, a Xin Shi2,b 1Institute of Aeronautical Engineering, CAD/CAM Center, Shenyang 110136, China 2Shenyang Aero-Space University,CAD/CAM Center, China azhangyingzxs@163.com,bshixin4019@163.com Keywords: STL; ASCII; Binary; OpenGL; Three-dimensional Display Abstract:Based on the detailed analysis of the STL file format, VC++ 6.0 programming language was used to extract the STL ASCII and binary file information, at the same time, using the OpenGL triangle drawing technology for graphical representation of the STL file, with rendering functions such as material, coordinate transformation, lighting, et al, finally realizing the loading and three-dimensional display of STL ASCII and binary file formats.
Because the OpenGL provides a series of functions, such as material, lighting, anti-aliasing,et al[5,6].Just input the proper codes according to certain format, thedisplay of STL can be realized.
